double post

Been slacking yesterday, we left hastings early in the morning to drive towards Gisborne and found that th town was still very busy sorting out all the earthquake damages. We checked out the harbour, bought cachaca and drove on to Tolaga bay. Awesome scenic drive and the camp site was perfect too, nice and close to the beach and right in that awesome bay, what a view! We left there even earlier than the day before and did quite a monster drive from tolaga bay to Waihi through tauranga a near 500km drive all passed most northern tip of the east cost . . . . Stunning!
On the way we stopped at a Macademia Cafe that had their own Macademia farm, we had some totally stunning food and enjoyed the view over the bay, things just keep getting better :) Tomorrow on to Coromandel :-) will update blog when we find some decent internet.
